ALL MEMBER ZONE MEETING
Monday, MARCH 28, 2011 @ 7:00 PM @ DiParma’s in Seekonk - at the Romada Inn, Rt.114 near Rt 6.
DiParma' s Restaurant will be happy to accommodate us with a buffet style menu of Baked Haddock, Braised Pot Roast and Chicken at $20 per person (tax and tip included). Steven Rothstein, President of the Perkins School of the Blind has agreed to speak at this meeting on Monday, March 28th @ 7PM. He will even bring a Braille writing machine for everyone to see and show a short video. We (Zone 5 Leadership) are asking each club to decide on a donation to be given that night. Try for an average of $167 which would total $1000 (167 X 6). One club is thinking about a $500 donation and another club will be voting on a possible $200 donation. It would be nice if the 6 Club total reached $1000. Expect a raffle or a 50/50 that night with all proceeds divided by 6 for each clubs Admin Fund. YOUR CLUB PRESIDENT – is your contact person and he/she will have to turn in a meal count by Thursday, March 24 to Keith Rondeau @ keith89@comcast.net and guests of members are welcome. Your Zone 5 Leaders hope that you will support this event with your presence. It is a DG Joyce goal. It will be a pleasant and informative eve. Come meet your LIONS NEIGHBORS. |
